Arrival
in Tuscany and check-in into one of our beautiful villas or ancient monasteries,
which all have recently been restored and offer the comfort of a 3or 4 star
hotel. Staying in them makes you experience the unique sensation offered by
these ancient buildings, their history and the beautiful parks they are located
in. Dinner will be based on a menu consisting of typical Tuscan dishes which
will change every night. Overnight.
2nd Day Cinque
Terre: Breakfast. In the
morning leave for enchanting Santa Margherita, a coastal town on the
Mediterranean Sea. Tour by boat of the beautiful "5 Terre" a region of
unforgettable beauty with the itinerary: Santa Margherita – Rapallo –
Chiavari – Lavagna – Sestri Levante with visit of "Monterosso"
with its famous beach. Free lunch during which you can experience the authentic
tastes of the hidden Liguria In the afternoon visit of Vernazza with the gothic
church Santa Margherita d’Antiochia. Return to hotel. Dinner and Overnight
3rd Day FLORENCE: Breakfast.
The whole day is dedicated to a guided of Florence, the world famous city
of the Renaissance, on the banks of the river Arno and surrounded by the Tuscan
hills with its small towns looking down on the city. Free lunch. Return to
hotel. Dinner and Overnight
4th Day PISA-VOLTERRA:
Breakfast. Depart for Pisa, a city with an
aristocratic appearance and a monumental complex which is one of the most
impressive in all of Italy, the famous „Campo dei Miracoli" with the
"Leaning Tower", a landmark known worldwide. Continue to Volterra, a
city with a stern medieval character, built on the heights that divide the
valley „Cecina" from the valley „Era" and therefore offers a
unique view. The museums of the city offer some very special collections of art
and archaeological findings, witnesses of its Etruscan heritage. Return to
hotel. Dinner and Overnight
5th Day –
SIENA – SAN GIMIGNANO: Breakfast
. Departure for Siena, historic and aristocratic city with an untouched
medieval appearances. Free lunch. In the afternoon continue to San Gimignano,
one of the most impressive locations in Tuscany, characterized by its towers
monuments and art treasures. Return to hotel. Dinner and Overnight .
6th Day
MONTEPULCIANO – PIENZA - MONTALCINO: Breakfast.
Leave for Montepulciano and enchanting Pienza, a true masterpiece
of the Renaissance situated in the beautiful area of "Crete Sienesi".
Enjoy the taste and the smell of the typical Tuscan products. Free lunch. In the
Afternoon the tour continues to Montalcino, the city of the famous wine Brunello
D.O.C.G. Possibility to visit an historic tavern for a wine tasting. Return
to hotel. Dinner and Overnight .
Alternative:
Breakfast. Depart for the abbey of Sant’Antimo
(south of Montalcino). Listen to the Gregorian chants of the monks, for which
the abbey is famous for and which are performed in the traditional way without
instruments. The Travertine marble in which the interior of the church is built
provide for a unique sound and is also called "Singing Stone" In the
Afternoon the tour continues to Montalcino, the city of the famous wine Brunello
D.O.C.G. Possibility to visit an historic tavern for a wine tasting. Return
to hotel. Dinner and Overnight
