DAY 1: Arrival in Venice. Check in at the Monastery-Hotel. Time at leisure. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: Breakfast. Guided visit of Venice, the city of dream. Entering Venice is like leaving behind reality to a world of fantasy, like a movie loose conscience of space and time and get involved in the magic atmosphere that glitters on its channels, on its bridges palaces and squares. Your guide will show you not only the most important monuments of the city but even little squares and churches, mostly unknown but full of masterpieces. Dinner and overnight at the Monastery-Hotel.
DAY 3: Breakfast. Departure to Florence and full day guided visit of the queen of the Renaissance, with the possibility to discover its world wide famous art treasure: the Duomo, the Giotto’s tower, the Baptistery, the Signoria Square, the Church of Santa Croce and the old bridge over the river Arno. Dinner and overnight at the Monastery-Hotel.
DAY 4: Breakfast. Time at leisure and departure to Siena and free visit to this wonderful town with the world known Campo dei Fiori and its magnificent Dome. In the evening arrival at Rome. Time at leisure to enjoy Rome. Dinner and overnight at the Monastery-Hotel.
DAY 5: Breakfast. Morning at leisure. In the afternoon guided visit to the historical centre of Rome, visiting the most beautiful places of the Capital, with a stop at the famous bar "St. Eustachio" Caffè to taste its world famous espresso. The afternoon is free to go shopping or to discover the unusual Rome. Our representative will give you advise for some of the best restaurants in Rome, real "trattorias" where the group can enjoy the real roman cuisine. Overnight at the Monastery-Hotel.
DAY 6: Breakfast. In the morning visit to St. Peter’s. In the afternoon guided visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel and Raffaello’s Rooms. Time at leisure to enjoy Rome. Dinner and overnight at the Monastery-Hotel.
DAY 7: Breakfast. In the morning guided visit with our art historian guides to the Basilica of St. John in Lateran. The Cloister and the Baptistery, The Lateranense palace, the ancient Pope Residence, La Scala Santa and The Sancta Santorum, the Pope’s private Chapel and then on to Santa Maria Maggiore, the first Basilica of Rome. In the afternoon time for shopping. Dinner at the Monastery-Hotel and overnight.
DAY 8: Breakfast. Departure to Pompei for a guided visit to the Archaeological Site. Free lunch. Continue to Sorrento. Check in at the Monastery-Hotel and dinner and overnight.
DAY 9: Breakfast. Full day excursion along the beautiful Amalfi Coast! Stop in the main sights: Positano, a delicious little village built on the rocky cliff, walk in the center going down to the cute little beach. Continue on to Amalfi, stop for a nice walk in this enchanting little village which was one of the Italian Navy Republics, here you will visit the outstanding Cathedral with the Cloister of Heaven. Then on to Ravello, the most wonderful place built on top of a hill. Return for dinner and overnight.
DAY 10: Breakfast. Departure to Rome. Ciao and Arrivederci!
